Whilst continuing to undertake formal training, Cath has existing experience of community gardening, general horticulture and garden maintenance, border and garden design, and the planning and delivery of workshop activities for both adults and children.

Cath is Green Connector for Greener Cleaner Firs & Bromford working with Open Door Community Foundation and Firs & Bromford Neighbours Together  supporting local people to establish, develop, and maintain their green spaces.

Cath has previously served as the Secretary and volunteer for the Welsh House Farm Green Grafters and has assisted the group and local residents in setting up and maintaining communal garden areas and a communal allotment plot. More recently she became the Environmental Project Worker in Welsh House Farm and has designed and overseen the new Rutley Grove Community Garden development in the area.

Please get in touch if you would like to find out more about any of these areas of work or with any opportunities to get involved in new or existing projects - Cath is particularly keen to get more involved in the area of show garden design, planning and building. Thank you!
